About the role 🤩  

As our Machine Learning Engineer, you will test new ideas and concepts related to audio and symbolic music processing and generation, focusing on the application of cutting-edge machine learning concepts. You will also be focusing on the application of machine learning concepts to deliver great ideas for the rest of the teams by distilling others’ and conducting our own research. To do so, you will be reading relevant research papers and testing and documenting their results. You will be responsible for combining these into new models as well as collecting relevant data that can be used to train them.

Except for a passion for music as big as ours, you enjoy working with a variety of tasks and like to dive into new prototypes.

We believe you have:

• Strong Python development skills

• 3+ years’ experience using machine learning techniques

  • Used popular ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, JAX

  • Understand the mathematical concepts of convolutional models, transformers or diffusion models

  • Know when not to use deep learning techniques at all

• Experience with Digital Audio Workstations (ie. Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools etc.)

• Masters Degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge and industry experience

• Great communication skills

It’s a bonus if you have:  

• Experience with MLOps

• Strong mathematics and statistics foundation

• PhD in a related field

• DSP knowledge

• Modern C++ knowledge

• Used JUCE to develop VST plugins

• Background as a musician
